About the Author
Mikio Braun is a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Researcher. He is passionate about practical solutions as well as theoretical insights. He also loves to code. He is currently holding a PostDoc position at TU Berlin and the Berlin Big Data Center. He is author of jblas, a fast linear algebra library for Java, as well as streamdrill-core, an library for approximate counting and trending, developed at streamdrill, where Mikio was co-founder. He lives, works, and teaches in Berlin. He is also an avid gamer and part-time jazz musician. He blogs at blog.mikiobraun.de.
