Associating meditation with translation may seem a little odd, but since I started meditating every day, the benefits of meditation have started to appear.
My concentration has improved, the anxiety I sometimes felt when deadlines were approaching and I didn’t think I’d be able to deliver the translation on time has begun to decrease and even my organisation and time management have improved.
When I realised the benefits I was getting from meditation, I felt I should tell others, so that you can all benefit from meditation.
And yes, when I say all, I mean all: translators, interpreters and everybody else in every other profession. We can all benefit greatly from meditation.
