About the Book
This is the second version (the first rewrite) of this book, the point being to accompany the first write and the later edited version to then also accompany the what-went-through-my-mind book (Lock On and on and on) that tries to address some of the problems and lack of knowledge I had to address after I had written the original book (without much skill or craft). Thus with each of the versions of the book through time you get a show don't tell arc rather than a this is how to write a book, book. It will be published serially, as will the how-to book.
The final, post-edited book will be for sale as a novel, these books are an accompanyment to the technical How To book.
Any questions, mail Guy at guy@gecpresse.co.uk the arc's architect.
About the Author
If you have read 'On Writing' you will know Stephen King was hit by a truck and his life pivoted and he became Stephen King, the Writer.’ In his own life a diagnosis of MS, meant Courtney took similar decisions. Embarking upon a full time life as a writer has not provided the royalties he once earned during a 20 year IT career, but... It was his editor, Sophie, who gave him the impetus, - she berated him - to enter a poem in the competition, and his colleagues at the Montpellier Writers' Group in Cheltenham first set him out on the path of self belief. Seven years in the British Army's Intelligence Corps was the open mine from which this poem was hewn. His military poems are clustered in the fourth volume of his anthologies. Find them on gecpresse.co.uk. Green Eye Coeur Presse is an Intelligence Corps pun. He has two novels on kindle, he says, and so on, and so on. ‘Maybe the dark myelin lining of MS has a silver cloud after all’.Two growing sons, Seth and Alf, a large German Shepherd Zen, are the joy of his soul.
