Lithium batteries are becoming a bastion for future electrification and the elimination of internal combustion engines. The electrodes that have been used in the past are based on manganese or cobalt, and they are expensive, and do not have a very long useful life. On the other hand, lithium ferrophosphate electrodes would be cheaper, because its raw material is more abundant.
