About the Book
The legacy of Merlin and the sword live on in this tale of fantasy. After a hundred years of war between witches, wizards and humans causing the deterioration known as the Dark Ages. Years after the war, life resumes during this obscure time. In it, a boy named Walter lives in uncertainty. His father had abandon his older sister, mother and him without leaving a note to say why. As his mother struggles to adjust raising them alone, Walter has no time to daydream. After moving around, they finally settle in this little town called Absjorn. There Walter meets a friend that tells him all sorts of fantastical stories, especially about the Black Forest that is supposed to be haunted and enchanted. Their world is turned upside down when a wolf attacks their town. But this wolf was no ordinary wolf. In turn a stranger appears and is hailed as a hero for driving the wolf away. Only Walter and his friend know this stranger is a menace and together along with a young, orphan witch and Archibal a sorcerer who no longer practices magic try to save the town.
About the Author
I live in Austin, Texas and I do enjoy what the city has to offer me. I enjoy kayaking and especially rowing, but I mostly like to write when I can. My books mostly consist of fiction and a mixture of fantasy. I enjoy writing for both adults and children. I have a blog where I constant write short stories once a week. I like to keep my imagination active and writing is my outlet. I hope people will be delighted by my work as much as I was fond of writing.
