About the Book
With Laravel Authentication Unlocked we will go beyond the basic scaffolding and look at the "right way" to modify and customize this important module - and when we don't need to.
Laravel's opinionated authentication system can be quite confusing when we need to modify it to meet our requirements. As a result, many developers end up re-writing large sections of code because they are unaware of the different configuration items and how the code all fits together.
In this book, we will start with the basic scaffolding and trace through the source code to better understand the simplest way to bend it to our will. We will also look through a long list of common requirements and learn the least obtrusive way of making our application work as we want it to without overly modifying the codebase.
