Datastax and Dimensional Research had conducted a survey to get a perspective on the challenge.
- They surveyed more than 300 IT executives who work at companies with at least 5,000 employees.
- 80% were with companies of at least 10,000 employees.
- 46% were from companies of at least 50,000 employees.
- 77% of the respondents were at the level of vice president or above.
The report showed that organizations have a variety of objectives for IT modernization.
But shockingly, while 100% of organizations are modernizing their technology architecture, virtually all of them (99%) are struggling with architecture modernization.
