About the Book
This is a book to provoke and evaluate creative thinking by the use of a variety of abstract pictures. The latter are presented as riddles picturing a person and the task of the readers is to list as many answers as they can to describe what kind of person is depicted in the picture. Their creativity is then evaluated by the number of guesses made and the associations which have provoked them.
The book is called "In the world of man", because it will not only evaluate and provoke creativity, but will also lead its readers through the interesting and intricate world of men, where everyone has their unique and peculiar characteristics.
About the Author
Stavros Stavrou believes that creativity is the ultimate manifestation of human intellect that is capable of giving a meaning and significance of life. That is why he turns it into an invariable part of his daily life – from drawing eccentric super-stylised paintings and composing music to lecturing and being involved in research activity at the St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University. And since creativity is often neglected in the name of pragmatism and common sense, he undertakes a series of initiatives aimed at stimulating creative thinking and raising the public awareness on this important topic. Thus, Stavros secretly hopes that he will make people believe firmly in their inexhaustible creative potential.
