About the Book

Leanpub is a pretty cool platform which allows freelance writers like us to get the best use of the writing skill and do publications by ourselves. Since it allows publishing in progress books it can be the best place in the world for publishing a book even if you are still writing it.

So, this book was an effort taken to technically record the procedure of simply automating the tasks of publishing a php based web application with the use of Jenkins. It was basically a project for provisioning a website. Several other open source, recognized and industry standard tools and technologies have been used while implementing this project and you may get an in-detail view of the procedures being used for implementations. While this book is not presented in a fully formalized or in a standardized way, still it provides the readers with a better idea about the technical overview of the project based approach in DevOps and Systems administration.

Best out of the book can be gained by practicing the scenario by taking it as a tutorial guide for implementing CI/CD with Jenkins for PHP web applications.
