About the Book
Desperation, ideals, greed, and hope — they all have a role to play in tearing the galaxy apart.
The human race finds itself at the precipice; a mysterious, monstrous force threatens everything in the cosmos, and all the while, the unity of humanity’s Empire threatens to shatter just when it is needed most.
Never before has extinction been so tangible a possibility, and never before has exceptional courage, intellect, and luck been more needed.
This is a story about more than just people, their ambitions, and their conflicts: it is a story about crisis, set in a universe where survival, for any side, and for anyone, may be impossible.
It remains to be seen if the popular patriotic saying, “Humanity endures,” will remain true — even for a week.

About the Author
Evan Armstrong is the 18-year-old author of the novel Humanity Endures, as well as the son of the CEO of Leanpub. Like all other humans, he has interests and hobbies, and like most other humans, these interests are scarcely worth mentioning. He has already written a novel, is working on marketing it, and is learning programming in his spare time. No, he's not following in his author-programmer father's steps, why would you ever say that?
If you're reading science fiction and want to do it on Leanpub, you should check out Humanity Endures. If you're not into science fiction, Humanity Endures will make you be into science fiction, so you should check it out anyway. If you have already checked out Humanity Endures, then you are a superior human and can go on your merry way.
