About the Book
This book takes you into the journey of understanding how the power of generative AI can be coupled with cloud computing and be integrated into application, by examples. There are multiple generative AI application patterns included, each with different possible scenarios to cater to various requirements. This first volume discusses 3 main patterns: intelligent data processing, chatbot, and agentic workflow.
All examples in this book use architectures based on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud, which offers over 200 fully featured services including generative AI. The wide range of services available in AWS allows generative AI applications to be implemented in a well-architected way, taking into account the security, cost-optimization, reliability, and more.
About the Author
Yudho Ahmad Diponegoro is a current employee of Amazon Web Services. As a Senior Solutions Architect, he helps customers with advisory around well-architected cloud architectures. He had built proof-of-concepts for multiple customers in ASEAN on generative AI and spoken in multiple public presentations around machine learning and generative AI. He published blog posts and code samples & tools, including the Video Understanding Solution and Bedrock Usage Analyzer.
Living in Singapore, Yudho had his education in both Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for a bachelor degree in electrical engineering and National University of Singapore (NUS) for a masters degree in information systems. He was also an alumni of SMA Taruna Nusantara (a high school in Indonesia) where he achieved his silver medal in International Olympiad of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) in 2008.
Aside from his personal interest in machine learning and building applications, as a muslim, Yudho is very interested in Islamic Studies, especially in the field of Prophetic stories and jurisprudence. He also advocates for justice and disagrees with injustice including oppression and occupation, which is his personal view.
