About the Book
Eighteen-year-old Lauren Frost's life is split between two families and two continents. After spending the Christmas holiday in England with her mother, she comes home to a nightmare. Her Forty-two-year-old father has married his girlfriend, who is twenty-one and enjoys making Lauren miserable. So, Lauren flies back to England, considering leaving Florida and her father behind for good, until her mother reminds her that she'd be leaving her friends behind in the middle of her senior year. Plagued by indecision, Lauren goes for a walk that brings her life to a stand-still. However, the Messengers step in as she's dying and give her a choice. She can give up and die, or fight for a chance to reclaim her former life. The second option comes with a catch, though. She has to save a foreign world to win her life back.
About the Author
Author Chelsea Clemmons Moye is an alumna of both Faulkner State Community College and Troy University. She is a natural storyteller who loves to capture her readers' imaginations. Clemmons has a Bachelor of Science degree in English and minored in Creative Writing. She published her first book, A Collection of Reflections in 2009. She is working on a paranormal mystery novel titled Shattered with Chase Rocky and a collection of short stories titled Attention Span of a Dead Goldfish. Clemmons enjoys spending time surrounded by family and friends, is a library circulation technician, is going to school to get her MA in creative writing fiction from Southern New Hampshire University, and is also getting her Medical Transcription Editing certification. Chelsea has two cats and a dog, and would have more pets if she could afford them. She wants to live at the beach, and would eventually like to teach creative writing.
