This book is a book on Event Sourcing that is meant for beginners. The focus is on bringing someone "into the space" and to give them a solid foundation from which to be able to learn more. The precise use-case this book was intended for was "I as a team member have a new team member coming onto a project using event sourcing and would like to give the new member something to get them up to speed quickly".
