Have you ever wanted to learn the language of the web?

HTML and CSS are the bricks of which every web page is done, even the one you are viewing right now.

Did you even ever thought just everyone can write web pages?

Being able to write HTML, and to add a pinch of CSS on top of it, will make you a first-class citizen of the web.

Status of the book

This book is still a work in progress.

I mean, I'm working on it and will update it as often as I can – and no, this doesn't mean no updates in months – , trying to follow the core concepts which Leanpub is based on. This also puts you, the reader in a great position for driving the general direction I'm going to take for the book.

Let me know when you think a concept is not clear enough, or if you'd expect me to cover a topic you didn't find in the table of contents. Feedback is always welcome.

Hey, hello. I’m William Ghelfi. I was born, then suddenly started growing up. Never stopped since.

I’m a former poet and musician turned web developer, turned web designer, turned teacher, sysadmin… you get the point. Being what I am, and all at once, earned me the privilege of being the R&D Director at Entando - the startup that’s simplifying Enterprise Portals.
