Olav is a Software Engineer with a wealth of experience in the areas of content management, online communities, and e-commerce. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and has worked as technical lead in numerous internet startups. He has also co-authored a book on the Drupal Content Management System.

In his spare time, he holds workshops on Physical Computing and Internet of Things for teens, sails, and most recently tries to get a grip on kite boarding.

With his wife and three kids, Olav lives in Bonn, Germany.
