About the Book
This is an open source snare drum book written in plain text and built using free software. The book provides a growing collection of reading material for the intermediate percussionist, and contains a variety of snare drum rudiments and conventions assembled as a series of non-progressive studies typically found in the general snare drum repertoire. The studies make no assumption on sticking and combine a range of musical elements structured around themes and motifs which I hope you will find both musical and technically challenging. I welcome contributions.
