About the Book
I'm always wanting to learn new things, but I never have time to. I buy books and try to read them, but they spend three paragraphs explaining what an int is. Ain't nobody got time for that! I want each sentence to be brimming with information, to maximize the things I learn before my eyes glaze over.
I wrote this book for me. Well, not for me per se, because I already know Django, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to write it, but I wrote it hoping that someone like me reads this book and learns Django very well and then thinks "hey, I should write a book like that for <other thing>!", and then they do, and <other thing> is actually something I want to learn, so I can read their book. I guess, in a way, this book is just an extreme form of procrastination for me.
Learn Django in Ten Minutes is still being written. I've only got around a minute written, the other nine are coming soon (check the progress indicator on the Leanpub page). All future updates are free to buyers, so you can buy the book now and rest assured that you'll get everything as it is published. The minimum price will keep increasing until the book is 100% complete.
