About the Book
We now live in a world where many things occur in the digital world. It feels so convenient to use digital features in many different sectors such as communication (social media), research, recruitment and selection, finances, health services etc. This book invites readers to take a step back to reflect on how digital data are collected and stored, used and misused, or breached for malicious intentions. It questions whether digital products have undergone sufficient regulatory procedures to achieve their aims to benefit humanity or how in contrary, if not sufficiently regulated before release, could be detrimental to freedom and sovereignity of humanity at the individual and collective level.
This book is currently an in-progress version and starts with three chapters.
