About the Book
Dark Lords
With a name like "Wicked Kid", life was starting to become mysteriously appealing. The footprints he left in the mud were stained red as he crossed the dirt road. Red as the inside of a lava pit. Red as the anger in his bones, as he picked his way across the uneven ground towards the saloon. The blood was Eric’s own, but he felt no pain. Later, when the white light had faded from Eric’s vision and the cresting wave receded, when the roar was silenced and a strange pain in his hands began to ride up his forearms, when he was no longer standing but on his knees, he would realize that the first person he had killed that night was far from his last.
About the Editor
“I have advice for people who want to write. I don’t care whether they’re 8 or 80. There are three things that are important: First, if you want to write, you need to keep an honest, unpublishable journal that nobody reads, nobody but you. Where you just put down what you think about life, what you think about things, what you think is fair and what you think is unfair. And second, you need to read. You can’t be a writer if you’re not a reader. It’s the great writers who teach us how to write. The third thing is to write. Just write a little bit every day. Even if it’s for only half an hour — write, write, write.” _ Terry Richardson
