About the Book
Located in south eastern Utah near the town of Moab, Canyonlands is an American national park. The 337,598 acres of the fascinating and seemingly unending wilderness of beautiful canyons and rugged terrains make Canyonlands the largest national park in Utah. The park has a unique, colorful landscape that was eroded by the Colorado and Green rivers into a number of canyons, mesas, buttes, spires, arches. On 12 September 1964, President Lyndon Johnson signed the legislation to designate the Canyonlands as a national park.
