About the Book
From Mao’s labor camp during the cultural revolution to super high tech auditorium in Singapore, a once famous music conductor with an impossible orchestra from the Shanghai Music Conservatory, broken but still sane enough; his quest to be reunited with his only child, one of the top female solo violinist in the world, finally found redemption through the only music he had made into a grandmaster piece but had not conduct for 30 years; was asked to do it once more at the epic celebration of the Oversea Chinese Association in the Lion city, a former British Colony for the return of Hong Kong, a British territory to her motherland Red China on 1st July 1997.
About the Author
Joey Tan is an anti-nuclear waste activist and researcher for more than 25 years. He is a UCLA trained Cinematographer and Photographer and together with his Japanese wife Tae; they have a vast collections of photography and video, some of which have been downloaded more than a million times through the internet for free. They are creators and founders of Digital Focus: a series of books containing selected collections of photography and essays. They are missionaries to the poor and underprivileged children, mostly orphans in Thai Burma Borders in Thailand. Joey is also the founder and chief co-ordinator for Sangkhlaburi Junior College Of International Languages in Thailand. Together with his wife, they also financed and built Grace Garden Chapel in Koriyama City, Fukushima, Japan. They live in Japan and Thailand.
