You can use this page to email Ignacio Colomina about Building an Operation Oriented Api using PHP and the Symfony Framework.
About the Book
In this book, we will learn to construct a robust and efficient API architecture that revolves around operations. By the end of this, you will have the knowledge and necessary skills to build an operation-oriented API using the PHP programming language and the Symfony framework.
This book is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to create a single API endpoint that embraces the concept of operations. We will utilize the robust features of Symfony to build an environment where operations are the focal point of our API design.
Please note that this book assumes a certain level of familiarity with the Symfony framework. It is not intended to serve as a comprehensive guide to Symfony but rather as a focused exploration of its powerful features for building an operation-oriented API.
It's also important to clarify that this book does not delve into the development of specific operations themselves. While we may use operation examples like "SendPayment" for illustrative purposes, the primary goal is to demonstrate how to construct the necessary code discover, manage and execute operations.
Throughout the chapters, we will cover essential Symfony topics such as dependency injection features, security authentication and background operations with Symfony Messenger.
About the Author
I started working as a Java programmer many years ago, but for the last 12 years, my work has focused on development with PHP using the Symfony framework. During this time, I have had the opportunity to observe the growth of PHP and Symfony, and I feel very fortunate to have participated in very interesting projects with a team made up of wonderful people.
I am passionate about the blockchain sector and how web3 and decentralized applications can change many industries, not just finance. I am self-learning how to program smart contracts and how to apply them in various sectors such as finance, real estate, and even democratic participation. I have participated in 3 hackathons organized by the Stellar Foundation, where we had to create a contract/application and deploy it on their Soroban platform. This has provided me with knowledge about the blockchain ecosystem, and I have had the opportunity to see the work of other fantastic developers.
I am one of those who believes that continuous learning is the best approach to face a rapidly evolving and constantly changing world, especially in the field of technology.
I also try to contribute my bit to the community, as I deeply believe in the open-source philosophy. You can read some of my articles or see my code projects at the following links:
