About the Book
I was “That Man from Singapore” whom Bruce Lee had flown in to Hong Kong to work with him in his film “Game Of Death” or “G.O.D” way back in Spring 1973. That was almost forty years ago. Bruce Lee had also invited his Wing Chun teacher Wong Shun Leung but he declined citing that he didn't want to lose on-screen to Bruce and didn't think Wing Chun would look good on-screen. Nevertheless, Bruce asked me to spar with Wong at the “weapon chamber” set of “Enter The Dragon” and he recorded the fight scene, carrying the 35 mm German made arriflex camera all by himself. That same afternoon, Bruce choreographed a fight scene with me and it was also recorded by his own cameramen from three different angles. After Bruce passed away on 20 July 1973, Raymond Chow had it deleted from the film “Bruce Lee, The Legend” because it wouldn’t help to sell the film. I respected, admired and remembered fondly the two of the greatest martial artists in the world. This book represents the work of myself as a martial artist which subsequently led to my experience with Bruce Lee who is considered a legend in his own league and also a great philosopher. He is one of the few individual in the world who has influenced and shape the destiny of my life. I consider my fortunate to have that experience with him.
