Ikechukwu Okereke
Ikechukwu Okereke is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with over twenty-five years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Ikechukwu has demonstrated expertise in managing multi-million dollar projects across various domains including operations management, project management, and strategic planning.
Throughout his career, Ikechukwu has spearheaded numerous projects, ranging from onshore to deep-sea operations, showcasing his proficiency in areas such as Engineering design, Construction, Fabrication, Integration, and Commissioning. Notable among his achievements is his role as Project Leader for the OML 100 ICSS Upgrade Project, where he successfully upgraded Integrated Control Safety Systems across four offshore platforms.
Ikechukwu gained invaluable experience at the Ubeta Project where he was the Engineering Manager and currently serves as the Package Manager for Ubeta well pad, facilities & Tie-in. This role has further enhanced his expertise in offshore project management and execution.
A registered engineer and member of the Project Management Professional (PMP), Ikechukwu is committed to excellence in every endeavor. He is also an active member of professional bodies such as the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and the Nigerian Institution for Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE).
