About the Book
Android 4.4, better known as KitKat, was released back in November of 2013, and it introduced some cool new features and APIs.
Bitesize Android KitKat takes a look at some of the most interesting of these from a developer perspective. Each chapter takes a look at a different feature, with code and a sample app to aid demonstration. The chapters are detailed enough to allow a reader to get up to speed on complex APIs, but are sufficiently short that they can be digested on a daily schedule.
The book covers the major features such as the new transisions framework, as well as digging out some hidden gems such as the improvements to the Visualizer class.
