Last Chance Canyon is a collection of stories gathered and experienced by William Elmore Gann. Gann's reporting documents a 30-year period in the El Paso Wilderness. These adventuresome accounts are centered around Bickel Camp, a gold mining site at the base of Black Mountain in the eastern California desert.
About the Author
William Elmore Gann was a photography and journalism teacher for 36 years. He has teamed up with an ex student, Juan Carlos Parades, to produce the documentary film related to this book.
