About the Book
What does the fitness journey of someone who never worked out until they were 41 years old looks like? How did the pandemic provide a perfect storm to a middle aged couple to discover fitness and nutrition and take charge of their health? Among the myriad sources of information and confusion that are available on the Internet, in this book we have attempted to describe what worked for us and how. Whether it is diets, workouts, fasting, breathwork or things related to mindset (consistency, habits) we explore and attempt to present the information in an easy to consume and actionable format.
This book carries on the from the first edition and explores several new topics such as fasting, breathwork and a more nuanced understanding of nutrition. The book is filled with data, charts and pictures in an attempt to make it both real and relatable.
About the Author
I live in Clarksburg, Maryland with my wife Nidhi and two sons Nabhit (11) and Aadit (7). I have a bachelors degree in engineering and a masters degree in data science. I love working with data, scrolling through political twitter and writing. I am a first time author and decided that I should combine my love for data and my new found passion for fitness and write a book about journey towards fitness & strength. My book "Blueberries in my salad" contains data and analysis from (two) real people (myself and my wife) about diet, exercise and fitness. Lots of charts, tables and personal experiences.
