This book shows you how to configure CloudFront to utilize AWS's global network of datacenters to speed up content delivery. You start with a Medium-clone blog engine called Conduit deployed to an EC2 instance and through a series of steps you'll have a modern content delivery architecture utilizing >200 datacenters all over the world.
This book is a step-by-step guide that encourages you to follow along. There is a CloudFormation template you can use to set up the webapp in your account then you can do the steps described in the book to add more and more features of CloudFront. You'll learn all about the technology and when and how you can utilize the same concepts.
By the end of the book, you'll be able to add CloudFront to any webapp and use it to reduce the latency the visitors experience. You'll have a good understanding of how a CDN works and in what circumstances you can use it effectively.
