About the Book
The first six chapters of A History Rewound are available for free~ I wanted to provide enough free content to help you, the all important reader, decide if you like it enough to purchase it when the full novel becomes available. Without further ado, here is more apt summary of the plot, without giving too much away~
Our protagonist is an ancient being of forgotten lore, protecting the world from unseen forces of chaos. She sees over years of our human timeline.
Something evil sets his eyes on her, and her alone. She cannot escape him. He is everywhere and nowhere. When she faces an unfathomable defeat, her body and mind withdraw into a state of shock. In a moment of weakness and desperation, she makes a deal with the omnipresent Eater of Memories, and trades in her memories and most of her powers in order to live a mortal life. It promises her protection in exchange. But the shield of its protection will only last so long, faced with the ever-growing power of the entity pursuing her. He is relentless, cruel, and forever searching. He will not rest until she crumbles.
Update : The first draft is now done, I will probably be adding more free chapters, but I will not upload a purchaseable version until it looks more polished. I don't think anyone wants to pay for my sloppy transitions and rambling author's notes.
About the Author
I am a psychology student who has been writing since my youth. Most of my writings have their origin in some silly story I wrote as a child. Or with some imaginary scenario that came along on a hot summer day with my friends. I wrote my first novel in high school when illness prevented me from attending public school. It was, quite honestly, terrible. But it was mine, and I loved it. A History Rewound is the first novel I have ever written several drafts of. (I believe this is the 4th?) Therefore, it is, in a sense, my first real novel. I write with the hope that someone will find my stories relatable and compelling, but also with the hope to raise money for graduate school. Any reader is appreciated, all feedback is adored. I really hope that you love my writing as much as I love creating it.
