About the Book
Discussions about agile software are often too theoretical. They are usually lists of trade-offs for situations that aren't properly fleshed out. This book attempts to solve that problem by showing a software team beginning to implement agile ideas. Showing the full context and code that the team struggles with, will help you see how to apply the principles of agile.
This is the story of Mike, a programmer who has struggled to deliver working software. Following a major issue with a new feature--that caused the company to loose lots of money—Big Tickets' leadership decides to rehire a previous employee named Tim. Tim has been tasked with delivering features on the e-commerce site, implementing agile, and hiring more employees. Read on to see what Mike and the new team learns from Tim.
