About the Author
Dr. Aaron Rasheed Rababaah is an Associate Professor of Computer Science, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the American University of Kuwait (Jan 2016 – Present). He held the following academic positions in USA: Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Post-Doc researcher and Instructor at Tennessee State University and Adjunct Instructor at Indiana University of South Bend. He finished his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from University of Jordan, Jordan, his M.Sc. in Applied Computer Science from University of Indiana, USA and his Ph.D. from Tennessee State University, USA. He has five years of experience in Industrial Engineering and 10 years in teaching at the college level. He has research interest in Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Software Engineering and Computing Education. He has published 3 books and one in progress, 25 refereed journal papers and 10 in review, and 50 peer-reviewed conference papers. He has given 50 professional presentations in several international conferences, 3 of which as an invited speaker. He was awarded several awards including two Distinguished Research Awards from a USA journal and a USA conference, Exceptional Leadership for ISO9000 accreditation, M.Sc. Scholarship/Academic Excellence Award, Ph.D. Scholarship, Thesis Showcase Award and Who’s-Who recognition for number of times. He has supervised, advised and referred senior projects, master theses, doctoral dissertations and number of conferences and journals. He has been funded several times to conduct research in his areas of expertise including, USA Department of Defense, US Army, NASA, USA Science foundation and Maryland Department of Education.
