About the Book
Question:
How does a 13 year old boy stay focused in math class when his best friends are taunting him, a new girl just walked into the class, and he really doesn't care who Pythagoras was?
Answer:
He doesn't!
Although Evan Turner's parents have broken up, he is still getting ready to go to high school in a year. But he'll have to get through grade 8 Math first.
The sequel to Sally Strange: And How She Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Grade 7 Math follows Evan through his last year of middle school. A place where 13 year old boys are under pressure from teachers, parents, boys and of course, the new girl.
During the summer, things have changed with his grade 7 crush. Sally is no longer in his class, and is no longer always on his mind. Evan's friends are beginning to find out what happened last summer, but not from Evan. He's holding that secret tight. The other secret, the one called Kristen, well that secret is out. Everyone knows.
It's an honest look at what grade 8 boys think, but do not say...and how grade 8 math can change your life, forever.
