About the Book
A business analyst who has to document a system using UML often loses track when trying to document a system. Especially if it is heterogenous, which is usually the case when emploiying business analysts for such a task. Of course you are self-standing and able to find your way through the maze. However, it's more time saving to follow a path known to be good.
This book is the best path I have found in many projects. It covers almost all aspects in documenting large (and of course small) systems using UML and as the tool of choice Enterprise Architect.
The thread through the UML maze itself leads to all important locations and you will be able to adapt the methods shown for your own needs easily.
About the Author
Working since mid 1970's in the IT industry. Having gone through development and management in almost all industries (international but based in Germany). Currently focused on UML based projects (Embedded Systems/SysML, SOA, BPMN). Using (and dissecting) EA since 2003 (version 3.5) until today. Honestly I stopped at version 13.5 since it got only worse and washing my hands did not feel being enough. I might hop on the train again if the situation will get better.
