Leanpub now supports using your local currency when you make a Leanpub purchase using Stripe!

Adding a Purchase to Your Shopping Cart

To buy something on Leanpub, you first add it to your cart, by clicking a button:

Clicking the button will take you to your Shopping Cart, which will look something like this:

You can get back to your shopping cart from anywhere on Leanpub by clicking the shopping cart icon you'll see at the top:

Selecting the Option to Pay in Your Local Currency

In the Shopping Cart, the price displayed will be displayed in US dollars:

To pay in your own currency, click the "Checkout with Credit Card" button:

In most countries, this will take you to a purchase page, that looks something like this:

We will try to guess your local currency, and display the purchase amount (and any applicable sales taxes) in your currency at the top left:

You can also click on the US dollar option if you want to pay that way:

A Note About Some Exceptions

Not all countries and currencies are covered by this feature, sorry about that, and the options you see may vary from the examples above.
