Thursday Evening
We know many of you stick around past the end of Summit, so we invite you to make the most of it.
Thursday evening is community-organized. We invite you to come up with ideas. Email summit@powershell.org with the details — where people should meet, what time, and what to expect. We’ll add your gathering to the official agenda.
All Thursday evening events are “on your own” — everyone pays their own way. We ask that events be a bit more recreational than just “let’s grab dinner,” though incorporating dinner into your plan is totally fine.
A few ideas to spark your imagination:
- Game night at The Mox
- Bowling and arcade games at Lucky Strike
- Catching a show at The Bellevue Collection
- A morning-style walk that stretches into the evening
- A trip into Seattle for food, culture, or whatever pulls you
If you’re looking for something alcohol-free, Thursday evening is a great opportunity — check #sober-summiteers in Slack to find others who want to organize or join a more low-key outing.
As always, our organization doesn’t sponsor or run these events. We ask that all Summiteers be responsible, courteous, and safe — whatever the evening looks like for you.
PS: Please, no evening hikes up Mt. Rainier. We’d like you back next year.
