Packing for Trip
Some ideas of things to add to a normal Disney packing list1
- Noise makers (white noise for sleeping)
- Night lights
- Crib/Pack-n-play. (Disney hotels can provide these on request)
- Water bottles & sippy cups
- Swim diaper
- Baby monitor
- Long distance travel entertainment
- Kid ID bracelets (your name / phone on it)
What to bring into parks
The best way to find out what you need is to take a half-day trip to a local zoo, park, botanical gardens bringing everything you think you’ll need at Disney. What’s missing will become obvious, and what’s not needed will feel like dead weight.
- Water bottles for kids filled up, I recommend Camelbak water bottles
- Ear muffs or plugs (for kids that don’t like loud show, parades, fireworks)
- Autograph book and pen
- Diapers/wipes
- Nursing cover
- Snacks/bars
- Ponchos (Disney sells them if you forget)
- Warm layers for kids (indoors at Disney can be heavily air-conditioned)
- Change of clothes for kids
- Stroller
- Baby carrier
- Smartphone with outlet charging cable
- Battery pack life extender for phone
- My Disney Experience smartphone app
- Ziploc bags (wet clothes, togo-ing food)
- Camera
- Tickets
- IDs
- Money
- Formula/baby food
- Any meals or food you want that doesn’t require cooking (Disney permits you to bring your own food into parks)
