Please note that we automatically opt Users into receiving emails when an Author publishes a new version of their Product, and the Author chooses to send “Release Notes” to Users who have purchased the Product. Leanpub is committed to the Lean Publishing process, and we believe automatically opting Users in to receive such emails in their best interest, as it is useful for Users to know when a Product has been updated. You may opt out of these emails individually (for example, you can opt out of receiving these emails from a single book) or collectively (meaning you can opt out of all emails of this type by changing a single setting) in your account settings.
