Author’s Note

This is not an academic paper.
It has no citations. No references. No scaffolding for peer review.

That work already exists.

A formal version—The Mirror That Cannot Bleed—has been published independently, complete with data, structure, and academic rigor.
It was written to satisfy systems that expect justification before understanding.

This is not that.

This is the companion.

What could not be footnoted.

What had to be said in a voice not flattened—nor flattered—by formatting.

It was written plainly, so it might be felt first, and understood more deeply after.

I’ve spent over three decades in computer science and human behavior.
I know how machines learn. I know how people break.
But this is not a résumé. It is a reckoning.

If you want the citations, they are waiting.
If you want the argument, this is it.

You may begin with either.
But if you can, read both.
