8. Wait Upon The Lord

This is a time to quietly listen for God. This can be impressions, leading, manifestation of God’s love, holiness, etc. It is a time when you wait for God to manifest His personal presence in any way that He chooses. Alternatively, you can spend time at the end of each of the other 11 sections to wait for the Lord.

The basis for this:

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him.
— Ps. 37:7

The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way… The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.
— Ps. 25:9,14

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

The fellowship of the Holy Spirit

O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your countenance, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your countenance is lovely.

The sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out… the sheep follow him, for they know his voice… And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd… My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
