Have you noticed how you've always had a better conversation / meeting / workshop when there was something visually tangible like a whiteboard diagram to refer to?

This book was prompted by 2 needs:

1. The lack of a definitive handbook with inspiring examples on what template/metaphor/exercise for every scenario.

2. People asking me to share my craft.

All visuals included were designed to be quick and easy to draw, easy to understand, and simple to deliver. No drawing skills are required. This book includes an introduction to sketchnoting. The foreword is even written by the creator of sketchnoting - Mike Rohde, author of The Sketchnote Handbook and The Sketchnote Workbook.

I hope this book makes you a better notetaker, coach, facilitator, leader, and communicator!

Hi. I'm Zhi.

My mantra is to help people love their jobs by working in better ways.

It was through working as a manager in the software industry for a number of years, that I realized my calling in coaching.

In my coaching roles, I found people really warmed up to visual approaches. I've always wished there was a definitive handbook with inspiring examples on what template/metaphor/exercise for every scenario. This guide aims to fill that gap using examples from my real working life.
