This means we built support for two things, one rather straightforward, and one rather magical.

How The Audiobook Format Is Displayed

In the bar under your book cover on your book’s landing page, if you have published an audiobook version of your book, people will now see that the audiobook format is available:

Downloading the MP3 audiobook file from your Library is as easy as clicking the Audiobook button:

Clicking Listen will open an in-app audio player with a follow-along transcript:

Publishing An Audiobook On Leanpub

There are two ways to publish an audiobook on Leanpub: upload an audiobook file you’ve made yourself, or create an audiobook from your manuscript using our AudibookAI service.

Generating An Audiobook From Your Leanpub Manuscript With Our AudiobookAI Service

To generate an audiobook from your Leanpub manuscript, go here:

Click Create my audiobook, choose your book, and select a payment method:

Once you’ve paid, go to the Audiobook section of your book, where you’ll be able to choose from a number of settings, including the voice you prefer from a range of options:
