Basically, you just need to ask them to create a Leanpub account if they don’t already have one, and then invite them to be a co-author using the email address for their Leanpub account.

When you’re adding them as a co-author, you also need to assign a royalty percentage to them.
But basically all they need to do is accept the co-author invitation from you that they will receive via email.

The Fine Print About the Roles of Primary Author and Co-Author
When you add a co-author to a book, you’ll note that you are the “Primary Author”.
