About the Book

In getting to where I am today, the universe has granted me a ton of insight and wisdom. But getting it has cost me, sometimes dearly. One of the benefits of being a writer living a transparent life and having no shame about it, is that it's easy to write about yourself with little to no censorship.

Along the lines of my first book, this tome could be called *The Obie Way*, because what I've ended up writing is part memoir and part personal guidebook for a successful working life. Perhaps like me, you are ambitious to be a winner at this game called life, but don't necessarily have a traditional foundation for doing so. I don't have any formal education beyond high school, from which I barely graduated. So this book represents over 20 years of bumbling self-discovery, gradually building up to the success I currently enjoy. I admit that some minor details are invented because of my spotty memory, and some names have been changed to protect friends and guilty parties, but overall I swear that all the stories in this book actually happened to me. Enjoy!
