  1. O Príncipe do Norte - A Lenda Chagas Barreto Lima
    Francisco das Chagas Barreto Lima (Crateús/CE, 18 de maio de 1887 – Sobral/CE, 9 de novembro de 1977). Descendia de Joaquim de Sousa Lima e Porcina Barreto Lima. Nasceu quando sua cidade ainda preservava o nome de Vila Príncipe Imperial. Veio para Sobral ainda menino, aos cuidados da avó Mariana Augusta Barreto. Com a morte do pai, teve de largar os estudos, para trabalhar empregando-se aos nove anos, na antiga Fábrica de Tecidos Ernesto Deoclesiano. Logo depois, sonhando em ter o próprio negócio, fundou a Sapataria Ideal. Com a forma séria com que tratava as lideranças do comércio, fundou mais tarde a F. Chagas Barreto & Cia, uma empresa que vendia de tudo, contando inclusive, com representações de produtos como os da Cervejaria Brahma. A obra que conta os detalhes de seus feitos está abrigada no livro: Um Varão de Plutarco: a saga de Chagas Barreto Lima (2014) de autoria de César Barreto Lima e Marcelo Barreto Alves. Foi um homem público e não alienado às causas sociais, contribuiu com a cidade construindo escolas, fazendo doações às crianças carentes, inclusive oferecendo certa quantidade para construção da Estátua do Cristo Redentor no Rio de Janeiro. Casou-se com Maria Cesarina Lopes Barreto, com que teve os seguintes filhos: Cesário, Flamarion, Margarida, Luciano Tebano, Porcina, Maria Alice, Maria do Socorro, José Maximino e Joaquim (sobrinho-filho).
