LoRa Tools for nRF52

About the Book

With the information in this book, you can construct low-cost, lightweight, portable lora radios and use them for texting between radios, debugging LoRaWann or lora mesh networks, setting up your own perimeter sensing networks, and locating assets or people inside commercial or industrial buildings.

Detailed support for the hardware construction is provided at www.adafruit.com, the vendor for the processor and radio boards.

The processor boards use either the Nordic nRF52832 processor, or the nRF52840 processor. The radio board uses the Semtech sx1276 lora radio chip.

Source code written for this project is included in an appendix. Complete source code and build files, including Nordic Semiconductor library code used, is supplied with the purchase of this eBook.

The book gives instructions for building, loading, and running ping, repeat, modem, and bluetooth bridge programs on the radios you build.

The software can be built in Windows, or Linux development computers, using the Visual Studio Code development environment supplied free of charge by Microsoft, and build directories available for download to purchasers of the eBook.

The digital source code can be downloaded by opening the LoraTools for nRF52 icon in your leanpub library, and choosing the extras entry that appears in the bottom half of the screen.
