About the Book
This book is meant as a loyal companion on your journey towards learning ArangoDB, and so I've tried to keep it easy and fun to read.
It starts off, with a brief introduction to ArangoDB, its toolset and installation.
After that, it's time for some hands-on fun, creating a database for a hypothetical social network, beginning with simple exercises, with just a few bits of data, and reaching its final destination, handling social graphs.
Through the development of that social network, you will get familiar with all aspects of using ArangoDB.
The book deals with ArangoDB version 2.0, but it will receive updates upon new releases in the 2.x branch of ArangoDB, so that it keeps you always up to date with developments and changes in ArangoDB.
I hope you will find the book as much fun to read, as it is for me, writing it.
This book follows the "publish early - publish often" principle, which means, that you can buy and download it in an unfinished stage and get notified of any additions, so that you can download the latest version.
I encourage you to leave comments and suggestions, so it becomes exactly what you need.
Thanks!
