About the Book
A friend asked me an interesting question about what skills are worth learning for Data Management specialists. The question got me thinking because I haven't had a clear picture in my head. This book is just my thoughts on the topic and for the most part, I'm just speculating about the current state and the future of Data Management.
The book will show you how to solve problems commonly found in different aspects of Data Management and what tools are commonly used in one area or another. This is not a practical book - you will not learn a particular technology or skill, it's rather a roadmap to structure and form a view of what is a Data Engineer and Data Management field in general.
Who this book is for
This book is for data analysts, ETL developers, and anyone who wants to start or transition into the field of data engineering. This book will also be useful to students planning to build a career in data engineering or to IT professionals preparing to transition to a new job.
