This story takes place in Planet Lu where the grass and leaves are blue instead of green, and there exist many beautiful plants, animals, and crystal bushes. However, the humans of said planet have created weapons far more dangerous than any animal and have tried to hunt every animal they came across and stripped them of their meats and hides to use as their own. Lumis, a white tiger, finds an orphaned human baby and decides to adopt him in hopes that she would raise him into not being evil like his kind, and she names him 'Gem'. Gem befriends Slash, Lumis's older cousin's daughter; Ben, a young blue triceratops; and Blue Leaf, a young blue brontosaurus. Gem wants to help animals, so he saved Blue Leaf from being washed away by a river. Gem's heroic actions awaken a butterfly spirit named 'Lu", who has magical powers. Gem and his friends rescue a human named "Princess Pelissa", and they embarked on a journey to return her to her tribe.
