Sean McDonald is an avid reader who has long wished to write a story of his own. He has been interested in history from an early age having grown up just three miles from where Washington executed one of his greatest victories in the Revolutionary War, the Battle of Trenton. Throughout his life he has visited many of the battlefields that exist inside the United States and has a devloped a strong interest in military history. He is also huge fan of science fiction. There are many  Military SF stories out there, but the author wished to do one with a twist, a series of books where the soldiers are not from the future, but from the past and what it would take to bring those soldiers up to speed to fight a threat the future society could not fight on its own.
