Angela Parker was born and raised in Texas, and yes, it was on a lil' farm in a lil' town.

Even though "Texas themes" may seem like the right thing to do, she tends to avoid cowboys and ranching as much as possible within her work. (Although there could occasionally be a barnyard critter or two.) The author strives for diversity and refuses to set limits on content, but the works with sketchy things happening between the pages come with a warning.

On a side note, writing about herself in as if she is someone else gives her the heeby-jeebies so feel free to follow her around in order to get to know her better, somehow she feels like that is less creepy. ;)
